- Originality
- How well the entrant’s photograph visually embodies his or her “HOW DO YOU FILA?” descriptive caption
- Visibility and prominence of the Fila logos on the entrant’s apparel, footwear and accessories
- Photograph clarity and quality

All voters must register with the howdoyoufila.com/contest website prior to submitting a vote. Limit one vote, per registered voter, per day during the initial round of the Contest Period. Any individual who, at the sole discretion of Fila, abuses the voting process in anyway, including mass voting or votes generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified immediately from further voting in the competition. Any attempt by a registered voter to vote on a photo more than once through any means, including but not limited to the use of multiple voter or email accounts, will result in disqualification of all votes by that voter.

To participate in the Contest, you must be 18 years of age or older, and a U.S. legal resident, as of the date of your entry or registration to vote.
To enter the Contest, log into the site (or register if you have not already) and click on the CONTEST link at the top of any page. Once you are in the Contest section of the site, look for the ENTER CONTEST link at the right hand navigation of any of the Contest pages. There you will find further instructions on how to enter and submit photos and your How Do You Fila? caption.
To upload a photo, log into your account (you will have to register with the Contest site first if you have not already done so) and click on the MY ACCOUNT link at the top of any page. You will see a link on the right hand navigation that says SUBMIT PHOTO. Click on the link and follow the instructions.
Things to remember:
-A “Main Image” photo must be of YOU (and ONLY YOU), and it must reflect you wearing at least one item of Fila apparel, footwear or accessories in the Main Image photo.
-You have to upload a “Logo Image” photo with each Main Image photo. A Logo Image photo is a close up photo of the Fila logo on the product you are wearing in the Main Image photo. The Logo Image photo is used for verification purposes only.
-You have to come up with a “How Do you Fila?” (“I Fila…”) caption for each shot, so be creative!
-Photos must be .jpg format, no greater than 800KB in size

KEEP IT CLEAN PLEASE! Each photo will be reviewed for offensive material prior to appearing on the Contest site. Fila will reject all photos that it considers in its sole discretion offensive or likely to be considered offensive by the public.

Take a photograph of the Fila logo as it appears on the Fila item you are wearing in each Main Image photograph of you. The Fila logo must be clear and identifiable. If you are wearing more than one Fila item in any one Main Image photo, you need only provide one Logo Image photo for that Main Image photo.
To ensure that everyone is playing fair and in accordance with the Contest Rules, we must verify that the product you are wearing is a Fila item. We didn’t want to require that the logo to be visible in the Main Image photo because we didn’t want to get in the way of your creativity!
Before a photo is permitted for public viewing on the Contest site, it must be reviewed for compliance with the Contest Rules. Fila will be using its best efforts to review every entry by noon EST the next day. You will receive an email notification to the email address you entered at registration once this review is completed. If you have submitted a photo and do not receive an email by noon the following day, please send an email to contest@fila.com in order to notify us.
You will have to send a request to contest@fila.com. Deletion of one or more photos may cancel any votes your album has received during the applicable given week.
Weekly votes are not published publically. If you would like to see a list of results after the Contest Period has ended, please send an email request to contest@fila.com no later than September 20, 2008.
Weekly finalists will be posted on the website every Friday following commencement of the Contest for the first eight weeks of the Contest Period. Finalists will also receive an email notification to the email address provided during registration.
Two (2) GRAND PRIZES shall be awarded. The eligible Grand Prize Winner will receive his or her option of either a Vespa LX 50 (“Vehicle”) to be awarded by Piaggio Group Americas, Inc. (“Vespa Prize Sponsor”), approximate retail value (“ARV”): $3199, or a cash prize equal to the ARV of the Vehicle (“Cash Prize”) to be awarded by Fila. If the Grand Prize Winner elects the Vehicle, the Grand Prize Winner will be responsible for any additional costs associated with the Vehicle, including without limitation title, tax, license, PDI (pre-destination inspection), registration, insurance, and any additional accessories and options as agreed to between winner and the authorized Vespa USA dealership location at which the vehicle will be delivered, as determined by Piaggio in its sole discretion. Grand Prize Winner will be responsible for pick-up (at winner’s cost) of the Vehicle at a time and location determined in the sole discretion of Piaggio (Piaggio will endeavor, as a courtesy, to select a dealership close to the residence of the Grand Prize Winner). Grand Prize Winner (or his/her parent/legal guardian, if applicable) are also responsible for shipping organization and shipping charges from the authorized Vespa whereat pick up is scheduled to any other location if Grand Prize Winner is unable or unwilling to accept delivery at such dealership. Grand Prize Winners must complete all documentation required by Fila and Vespa Prize Sponsor. If the Vehicle is elected, at the time of award, Grand Prize Winner (i) will assume full ownership of and responsibility for the Vehicle; (ii) will be required to sign various documents involving the Vehicle; and (iii) must furnish proof of residence, valid operator’s license as required by the law of the Grand Prize Winner’s jurisdiction of residence and of the jurisdiction of pickup and any required insurance coverage. The Grand Prize Winner is responsible for determining the class of license necessary to legally operate the Grand Prize. Vespa Prize Sponsor reserves the right to withhold delivery of the Vehicle if Grand Prize Winner does not comply with the above requirements
Two (2) FIRST PLACE PRIZES shall be awarded by Fila consisting of a Fila.com promotional certificate for a $1,000 shopping spree, approximate retail value (“ARV”): $1000. Each First Place Prize must be used in total by December 1, 2008; any balance remaining with be forfeited unless prohibited by law.
Sixteen (16) WEEKLY FINALISTS PRIZES shall be awarded by Fila one 8GB hand-held touch screen music player/internet browser/cell phone device during the period of June 6, 2008 through August 1, 2008. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each device is $399. Activation, subscription, airtime and any pay-as-you-go fees, taxes and/or surcharges are the sole responsibility of the winner.
If a Grand Prize Winner elects the Vehicle, the Grand Prize Winner must take delivery of Vehicle by December 1, 2008 otherwise the Grand Prize may be forfeited at Vespa Prize Sponsor’s sole discretion. Neither Vespa Prize Sponsor nor Fila are responsible for delays in delivery. All other expenses and items not specifically mentioned in these Official Rules are not included and are the Grand Prize Winner’s sole responsibility. The Grand Prize may not be exchanged or transferred. The Vehicle is subject to availability and Vespa Prize Sponsor may substitute the Vehicle with a prize of equal or greater retail value if the Vehicle is unavailable or cannot be awarded for any reason. The value of the Vehicle set forth above represents Vespa Prize Sponsor’s good faith determination of the ARV thereof and cannot be challenged or appealed. In the event the ARV of a prize is more than the actual retail value of the prize, the difference will not be awarded in cash or otherwise. In the event the Vespa Prize Sponsor fails to deliver the Vehicle or an appropriate substitute as provided herein, Fila’s maximum liability under any theory of tort, contract or other law shall be the ARV of the Vehicle.
Neither Fila nor Vespa Prize Sponsor has made any warranty or guarantee in whole or in part, express or implied, in fact or in law, in relation to the use of any prize including, but not limited to, its quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or suitability for use and, further, accepts no responsibility for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Fila, the Vespa Prize Sponsor, authorized Vespa retail dealers, and all their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective agents, dealers, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or non use of any prize that may be awarded. Released Parties are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest related materials; for transactions or entries that are lost, stolen, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, human or other error; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, including inability to access any web site associated with this promotion, or process any transaction thereon.
Acceptance of a prize by a Winner further evidences the Winners permission for Fila and its advertising agencies to use the Entry Materials for purposes of advertising and trade in accordance with the terms of these Official Rules regardless of the existence of any separate agreement, unless prohibited by law.
Any prize details not specified above will be determined by Fila in its sole discretion. Income taxes and any costs or expenses not listed above and expressly covered by the applicable prize provider are solely the responsibility of the winner. No prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded. If any component of the prize is not available, Fila may, in its sole discretion, substitute another component of equal or greater value. Each winner is solely responsible for complying with any applicable federal, state and/or local laws and regulations applicable to his or her prize including without limitation registration requirements and operating restrictions as applicable.
